The Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative (MEWI) is a statewide effort that builds on the powerful educator talent work being done here in Michigan and via national exemplars. For over a decade, our team has been developing and leading innovative programs, working to ensure children have access to outstanding public school educators in their classrooms, every day.

We are a hub for educator talent

We collaborate with K-12 districts, non-profit organizations, and philanthropic entities throughout the entire state, all sharing a common dedication to nurturing the educator talent pipeline that Michigan students rightfully deserve.
